You can always see whether or not a specific lot can be sent by post or UPS, during the course of an auction on Lauritz.com.

Parcel or envelope/box
We can send lots in two ways:

  • Envelopes/boxes are used to send very small items, for example jewellery, watches, a few coins or stamps.
  • Parcels are used to send somewhat larger items, for example small lamps, books etc.

Cost of parcel delivery
The cost depends on the size of the items and its destination. The price includes postage, administration, packing material, packing staff and insurance.

During an auction, you can see the cost of parcel delivery for a specific lot on Lauritz.com.

You can also see here an overview of all the price categories for parcel delivery.

Payment for parcel delivery
If you use our online payment service you can pay for parcel delivery at the same time as you pay for your lot. If you pay via bank transfer, please mark your payment with 'customer number, lot number, shipping'.

Parcel delivery, including packaging, is paid per lot number. However, an agreement can be made to send several lots together, if the auction house agrees that this is practical. The end of the auctions for the designated items must fall within five week days of each other.
